Garden party & private marquee hire in Peterborough

Make the most of your garden without guessing what will fit.

Start at the gate, not the guest list

A garden can look spacious while the delivery route is restricted. Describe the route from the road or unloading point to the proposed installation area, including gates, tight turns, steps, narrow passages and changes in surface. Share the actual venue postcode and any parking restrictions.

The team needs the usable area as well as the access route. Trees, flowerbeds, raised edges, outbuildings and overhead or underground services can affect the plan. A photograph helps explain the setting, but suitability still needs to be confirmed.

Choose the way you will host

Will guests sit for a meal, help themselves to food or move between the house and garden? Will there be music, a bar, dancing or a separate activity area? Tell us which elements need to stay covered and how the event changes through the day.

Our 6m × 6m and 10m × 10m pagodas are options to discuss alongside the 13m-wide modular marquee. The dimensions do not tell you how many people can safely attend; the agreed layout and site matter.

Practical details for a private site

  • Use of the garden: identify areas you need to keep available before and after the party.
  • Power: describe proposed lighting, entertainment and catering requirements for assessment.
  • Guest facilities: consider parking, toilets and the route back to the building.
  • Neighbours and permissions: clarify the venue or landowner’s requirements and any timing restrictions.
  • Installation and collection: agree when access is available and who will meet the team.

When the gathering continues after dark

Think about guest movement as well as decorative lighting. The route to the house, toilets or parking may need separate arrangements. Explain which activities continue into the evening and whether food, music and drinks need their own equipment.

Weather and ground conditions can affect the event and installation. Discuss the site and operating arrangements with the team; a marquee should not be treated as a guarantee that every condition or site is suitable.

Send a useful garden brief

Include the date, postcode, approximate numbers, usable garden dimensions if known, access description and the food or entertainment you have planned. Add the finish you want and what you already have available. We can then discuss the right next step for your site.
